Regulation of Personal Data Protection
Disclosure in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679
Both Karl Wieser Snc and Wieser Alpine Construction Experts Srl (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Wieser") wish to inform you that European Regulation 2016/679 provides for the protection of individuals and other subjects with respect to the processing of personal data. This processing will be based on principles of correctness, legality, transparency, and the protection of your confidentiality and rights. In accordance with Article 13 of the Regulation, we provide you with the following information:
1. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
The data provided by you or generated by Wieser’s applications will be processed for the following purposes:
• Purposes related to invoicing and accounting,
• Provision of contractually agreed services, including the optimization of provided tools and services, testing, and ensuring the proper functioning of systems,
• Resolving technical issues related to applications,
• Statistical research and analysis of aggregated data,
• Compliance with legal obligations.
With your explicit consent, your data may also be used for marketing and promotional purposes. The provision of such data is optional and will have no consequences.
2. METHODS AND SCOPE OF PROCESSING
Processing will be carried out by Wieser or third parties for the purposes outlined above, using electronic instruments and paper formats. Data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the intended purposes and may be processed at Wieser offices in EU and non-EU territories.
3. PROVISION OF DATA AND CONSENT
The provision of data necessary for contractual services is mandatory. Without this data, Wieser cannot provide the required services.
Providing data for marketing or promotional purposes is voluntary and does not affect contractual services.
4. PERSONAL DATA
Personal data may be accessed by Wieser employees operating under direct authority or by external parties strictly required to provide the services. Sensitive data (e.g., health, ethnicity, or religious beliefs) will not be processed.
The processing will not regard personal data included in the category of "sensitive” data.

Terms used
"Personal Data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier (e.g., cookie), or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.
"Processing" refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means. The term is broad and essentially encompasses any handling of data.
"Pseudonymization" refers to the processing of personal data in such a way that the data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and subject to technical and organizational measures that ensure the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.
"Profiling" refers to any form of automated processing of personal data that involves using such data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyze or predict aspects concerning the natural person’s performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements.
The term "Controller" refers to the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
"Processor" refers to a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
